In celebration of sports competition among the youth, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost), along with the Department of Education and Province of Ilocos Norte, released a set of prepaid postal cards celebrating the Palarong Pambansa on 24th of May 2025.

The Palarong Pambansa is an annual multi-sport event involving student-athletes from the different regions of the Philippines. These postcards feature the famous tourist spots of Ilocos Norte: The Burgos Windfarm, commissioned on November 9, 2014, it is the largest wind farm in the Philippines and in Southeast Asia, covering 600 hectares. Kapurpurawan Rock Formation in Burgos is a wind and wave-sculpted calcarenite unit along the coast of Burgos, Ilocos Norte, that has been recently considered as a possible National Geological Monument because of its geological significance and aesthetic value. The Ferdinand E. Marcos Memorial Stadium, also known as Marcos Stadium in Laoag City, is a football and track stadium and park. The stadium has a seating capacity of 12,000 and an area of 61,668.48 m2 (663,794.0 sq ft). The facade follows the motif of an abel, an Ilocano textile with a binakol or whirlwind pattern design.

The Suba Sand Dunes in Paoay is known for 4x4 ride with uphill-downhill trails and unlimited sandboarding, it is also the site for famous movies such as PANDAY and HIMALA. The Saud Beach of Pagudpud is a stunning stretch of pristine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Known for its serene and less crowded atmosphere, making it perfect for relaxation.
