The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) in partnership with Philippine Philatelic Federation Inc., issues special stamps and official first day covers on January 29, 2025 Year of the Wood Snake 2025.
In Chinese mythology, the Snake represents wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, intuition, and creativity. Snakes are also associated with good luck, prosperity, fertility, and longevity. They are revered for their ability to shed their skin and renew themselves, symbolizing transformation and rebirth.
Famous people born under the year of the snake includes artist Nora Aunor, National Artist Francisco Feliciano, and singer Rico J. Puno.
The Year of the Snake 2025 will be available at the Philatelic Division of the Manila Central Post Office.
