Mactan-Cebu International Airport

Mactan-Cebu International Airport Terminal 2 Postage StampThe Mactan-Cebu International Airport, located in Lapu-Lapu City, serves as the international gateway to Cebu and other destinations in the Visayas. Terminal 2, which opened in July 2018, is known for its unique design. Its large, curved wooden roof made from glued-laminated timber was inspired by the waves of the sea surrounding Cebu. The use of wood, glass, and natural light gives the terminal a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Its design also reflects Filipino culture and Cebu’s identity as a tropical island destination.
